Wouldn't this be a good time for each of us to contact the police their individually and tell them that there are thousands of instances of child abuse on record in Bethel? Also these cases were in many states so wouldn't the FBI be interested?

Operation Tomorrow
by Sunspot injust to let you all know why i won't be able to post for some time...i am finally getting in to the hospital for a much-needed operation that kept being postponed.
i have been back and forth to three different hospitals and various doctor's offices for tests, x-rays, consults and then more pre-op tests and x-rays.
(i have never heard of "nuclear testing before now...i wondered if they were going to send me to nasa!

I am back. Spent the day with a client and doing a bit of strawberry picking... a super place to sit and think.
I have come to this site so many times today and read and reread the posts. Itsallgoodnow your words are true. My sil called today and talk with my dh. He tried to explain what her purpose was and I went off like a rocket. After my snit he said that although hehas to work Saturday so he can not help she and her hubby have offered to go ahead and do all the moving of her dad . A great burden being removed from my DHs shoulders. ouch
Time for some self reflection and perhaps a good therapist. Good suggests on that one as well guys. Think that I will follow through on it.

it went on the market right when things took a turn; the market seems to be flooded and our home isn't selling in the time we had anticipated.
we really need to sell our home in prince william county,and are hoping that someone who has a need will see this posted here and take a look.

If you do decide to go the route of renting please, please get references, short term leases and get their soc. security numbers . When you get the soc. sec. numbers you can go to a couple of different sites online... landlord.com and I believe mrrenter.com . They also have to pass muster with the utility departments . Sounds over the top but if you do not walk carefully it can and will come back and bite you.

Oh my gosh!! I have read your responses so darn many times!! Each one of you bring something true to the conversation and something more that I have to contemplate and put into place in my life.
Crazyblondedeb, be careful... as I get my courage up I just might make it that far some day . I bet that we could have a lot of fun!
James you hit a lot of it right on the head. Tyranny runs in the family and that is why grandpa has to change care homes! It is so obvious but I did not see it for what it is. My sil was treated cruelly and brutally as a child and when she graducated she ran away and joined the army. So yes, I believe that it is in her blood and heart and being a JW does not alter that. I do find that it does help her to behave in a more refined manner when using the bible as her body armour. I have no doubt that this would be the same in any religion that advocates a better than thou art outlook.
I had a few responses that just plain asked why the heck did I not run. This was my second marriage and I did not want my young boys at the time to think that when things get tough or someone gets their feelings hurt that it is ok to run.
Or as I tell Frank now... I only stayed to get even with you for all the meaness.
Do I still want to leave him.. HELL yeah!!!! But one day while I was ranting and raving about how much better my life would be if I were alone and/or there are better fish in the sea , ya da, ya da, he slowly looked up at me and said... you would not last a month without my insurance Mary. You know that new insurances do not like to take people with pre existing conditions.
As I thought about it I realized that he is right. My prescriptions alone are over $2000.00 a month. Thankfully his insurance covers 80% to 100%. This is the amount normally if nothing goes wrong and I do not have to take something extra for a short time. sigh.. I am trapped. WIthout these meds life would be pretty hard. Guess it is a lesser of the evils. I am going to call the insurance office and ask if the courts orders Frank to keep me insured after a divorce is that something that can be done through their company.
Now to something a bit more positive... Yesterday I got a PM from a friend here who lives in a nearby N.E. state and asked if I would like to join her the middle of next month for a couple of days of fun!!!!! I am sooo looking forward to going !!! Frank has been informed and knows that if he has even one living brain cell he will not stand behind my car when I am leaving!!
She is taking off a couple of days from work to do this!! My life is so much better since I joined this list and met all of you.

I have shared more of myself to my friends on here than anywhere else and I adore the fact that that no one here gives out 'canned' responses. You know, same solutions, same words, sterile . Here friends step up and give heart felt answers some are warming and some hit nerves now and again. In ways the latter are some of my favs.
I would be lost without my friends here.

Believe it or not I HAVE told her off. When I got done she/they surely knew where the bear pooped in her woods!!!
I even told her if she thought that her brother was all that wonderful she could jolly well take him home and keep him. I reminded her that she has a full upstairs that is not used at all at her house and honey, I am certain that he will pay rent. Told her that more than once and not very nicely either. Oh yes, her ridiculous clapping seal of a brother had been sitting there while I was educating her about this at least onece.
I also have said that I do NOT wish to ride with her and that I want to go with Frank. She then goes behind my back and even though I told him the story he still says yes to her wishes. I end up staying home. Glad to do it too.
Have you ever had a dream that you were in a room with other people and you are talking to them and they can neither hear nor see you? I swear to god that is exactly how it is here. Whether I am trying to be nice or lambasting them their eyes are glazed over and I am invisible.
My mother... who would have been 99 this year... always said... honey, ignorance is bliss!
Mom was a wise woman. They must be very happy people

I am not a shy person but how do you stand up for yourself when you there is no one listening. I wished that there was someone out there to speak to . My husband literally becomes deaf. I no longer go anywhere with them together.
You know how when you talk to witnesses about the real truth their eyes glaze over and they do not hear a word that you say??!! That is what he does. Stoned deaf. NOt even on the same planet.
